I’m back!

I know it’s been a while since I’ve posted anything, and I apologize for that. I’ve been going through a lot of changes in my life over the past year, and I haven’t had as much time to crochet or blog as I would like.  For starters, we bought a house!!

I switched from busy city living to a rural dreamland halfway across the country, and I love it.  Traffic is non-existent and I can get CHICKENS in my backyard!  AND I’m surrounded by green everywhere!

Nowadays,  you can usually find me obsessing over my newfound hummingbird friends and my tiny veggie garden.  I planted zucchini, green beans, peas, cucumbers, and beets.  I kept the garden small since I’ve always had a black thumb, and amazingly, not everything has died!   Also, I tried an herb garden as well but that didn’t quite work out… some squirrels found the baby herbs irresistible and couldn’t keep their little hands off of them, so I had to move the herb garden inside.

In addition to all of that, we got a puppy! His name is Bruno, and he’s a total handful!  He’s taken up a lot of my time and attention and is so full of energy.  Look how cute he is!

With all of this, I haven’t had lots of time to blog or even play with yarn.  But I’m happy to say that I’m back! We’ve settled into our new home, and Bruno is starting to calm down a bit as he leaves his puppy stage.  I’m excited to get back to crocheting and sharing with you again.

I have a lot of new projects planned, and I’m really looking forward to posting more regularly.  I’ll be sharing new patterns, tips and tricks, and favorite products.  I’ll also be doing some more tutorials, so whether you’re new to crochet or if you’re just looking for some new patterns or ideas, be sure to check back often.
